Charity team building for pharma and healthcare teams.

  • Anywhere in the UK
  • A charity keeps what you build

Our happy clients include:

Builds that suit this sector

Three of our events were developed with health charities and land differently with a clinical or pharmaceutical audience.

  • Performance wheelchairs. Your team builds sports wheelchairs and gets to play wheelchair basketball or take part in an obstacle race, before the chairs go on to change lives for people who need them.
  • The Hand Project. Mechanical prosthetic hands, assembled by your team, donated to upper limb amputees in countries where fewer than one in twenty have access to rehabilitation.
  • Make Sense. Sensory equipment used in play therapy for children and adults with sensory processing needs or dementia.

Working around a clinical calendar

Conference slots, national sales meetings, product launches and investigator days are where most of our pharma work happens. The short format builds are designed to fit in with your wider agenda without needing the room reset.

Questions we get asked

Which events suit a healthcare audience best?

The Performance Wheelchair Challenge, The Hand Project and the Make Sense Team Challenge. All three were developed with health charities, and all three produce equipment that goes to someone who needs it.

Can this run inside a national sales meeting or conference?

Yes, and it is how a lot of our pharma work runs. The short format builds fit a one hour agenda slot including the brief and the handover.

How many people can take part?

Anywhere from six to two thousand. Smaller teams usually run one of our small group challenges, and very large groups run in waves so everybody builds something.

How long does it take?

Most events run between one and three hours. The short format builds fit inside a conference agenda and the full builds suit an away day.

Do we need a special venue?

No. Almost every event runs in a room you already have, whether that is your own office, a hotel function room or a conference space. We tell you exactly what the space needs when we quote.

What happens to what we build?

It is given to a charity, almost always on the same day. Wherever possible the charity comes and collects it in front of your team, which is the part people remember.

Tell us roughly what you have in mind.

A rough headcount and a rough date is enough to start. You get the prices first, and we only follow up if you want us to.
