You build…

Teams build bikes, wheelchairs, skateboards, scooters, musical instruments, playhouses, trikes, sensory kits.

…and we give them to people who need them.

Our happy clients include:

We bring the party!

Our team leaders are what make these days memorable. They run the room from the front, read the energy and keep everybody engaged and having fun, whether there are 20 people in front of them or 200. Ask a client what they remember about their event and they will name the person who ran it. The team bring everything needed for a great Christmas party - Music, decorations, costumes and Christmas games, all set-up and ready for your team to enjoy.

Why teams book this instead of a party

A Christmas do is one of the few days when every year the whole team is in the same room. However, most of them are forgotten by January.

o3e Christmas events are different. Bikes, skateboards or scooters are donated directly to a local charity that week and someone has a brighter Christmas as a direct result of your party.

Our events can be run anywhere. A room you have already have, or we can take care of the venue for you. No additional effort for you to organise - let us take care of everything!

Three ways to fit it into your day

Add to the party.

45 to 90 minutes. Slots in before drinks or either side of lunch without replacing anything you have already planned.

Make it the main event.

90 minutes to two and a half hours. The full build, the festive challenges and the charity handover.

Party in a box.

We post everything you need and your team runs it themselves. This is the one for multiple offices or a team spread across the country.

Choose the cause

This Christmas o3e have chosen to support two great charities: Action for Children and Liver UK. Pick either, or bring your own charity partner and we will work with them to create the right impact. Wherever we can, they collect on the day in front of your team.

What to know if you are organising it

It fits your day. Events run from 45 minutes to two and a half hours, for groups of 6 to 2,000, in the room you have already booked.

Book early. The first three weeks of December go first, and the crew is finite. Everyone can take part.

There is no fitness element and nothing that puts an individual on the spot.

It does not have to be Christmas. The same experiences run as an inclusive year end celebration for global and multi faith teams.

We handle the rest. Kit, set up, the charity introduction and the delivery afterwards.

Tell us a rough headcount and a rough date and we will come back with what fits and what it costs.

Questions we get asked

How late can we book a Christmas event?

Later than you would think, though the first three weeks of December are the ones that fill. If your date is tight, ring us on 0330 113 7170 and we will tell you honestly whether we can crew it.

Can we run it at our Christmas party venue?

Yes. Most builds need a table and a bit of floor, so a hotel function room or the space you have already booked is usually fine. We are set up before your team walks in.

What do you actually bring on the day?

An o3e team leader to run the whole thing from the front, plus the music, the decorations, the Christmas quizzes, the games, the prizes and all the build kit. We set up before your team arrives and clear away afterwards. You bring the people. We bring the party.

How much does it cost?

It depends on the event and the size of your group, because the cost is largely the items you are donating. As a guide, the skateboard build starts at £60 per person and the bike build at £80 per person, and both come down as numbers go up. Tell us a rough headcount and a date and we will send a straightforward quote with the number of items your team will be making.

How many people can take part?

Anywhere from six to two thousand. Smaller teams usually run one of our small group challenges, and very large groups run in waves so everybody builds something.

How long does it take?

Most events run between one and three hours. The short format builds fit inside a conference agenda and the full builds suit an away day.

What happens to everything we build?

It goes to the charity, normally the same day and often collected in front of your team. A few weeks later you get feedback from the recipients that you can share internally, so your team sees where the bikes or skateboards actually ended up.

Does the charity really get it before Christmas?

That is the point of running it in December. Wherever the charity can get to you, they collect on the day. Where they cannot, we deliver on their behalf and send you the photographs.

Not everyone on our team celebrates Christmas. Does that matter?

No. The same experiences run just as well as an inclusive end of year celebration. We drop the festive framing and keep the build, the challenges and the charity outcome. This is a common request from global and multi faith teams and it changes nothing about the day.

Our team is spread across several offices. Can we still do this?

Yes, two ways. We can post everything to each site and your team runs the session themselves, or we can run a virtual festive challenge where everyone joins from wherever they are and earns items for charity care packs. Both end with a real donation.

Do we need a special venue in the UK?

No. Almost every event runs in a room you already have, whether that is your own office, a hotel function room or a conference space. We tell you exactly what the space needs when we quote.

Polite and professional at all times.

The team at o3e that delivered our build a bike team building event were polite and professional at all times. They easily imparted knowledge enabling people to take part.
