How it works

You bring the team. We bring everything else.

The o3e experience

Your whole day, handled.

From the first call to the charity handover, our crew runs everything. Here is how it goes.

  1. We plan it around you

You give us a headcount and a rough date. We come back with events that fit, and what each one costs.

  2. We turn up with everything

Kit, tools, crew and charity, all arranged by us. We are set up before your team walks in.

  3. Your team builds

One to three hours, hands on. Our crew runs it, so nobody from your side has to host.

  4. The charity collects

The charity takes the build away in front of your team. That moment is why people remember the day.

  5. You get the story

Photographs, the donation figures, and copy your team can post. Your ESG report gets something too.

Let's get started

A room, a date, and a rough headcount.

After 15+ years, we know how to make it easy. All we need is:

  • A space. A meeting room, a hotel function room, a warehouse, the corner of a conference. All that most charity team builds need is a table and a small space.
  • A date. We run events all year, though the last quarter books up early.
  • A rough number. Anywhere from six people to two thousand. You can firm it up later.

We bring the kit, the tools, the crew, the charity, and we deliver everything at the end.

On the day

Designed so nobody stands at the side.

Our events are mixed ability by design. Every charity team build has roles that suit somebody methodical as well as roles that suit somebody competitive, so the quiet half of the room has a real part to play, rather than being handed the instructions to read out.

There is no fitness element, nothing that puts an individual on the spot, and nothing that needs a steady hand. If someone in your team is nervous about a hands on event, this is the kind of hands on event to give them. We are totally inclusive, and we can recommend events if you have people with different abilities.

Our crew runs the session from the front. Nobody on your side has to compere it, unless you wish them to.

Questions we get asked

How long does an event take?

Most run between one and three hours. The short format builds fit inside a conference agenda, and the full builds suit an away day. We tell you the timing for your event before you book.

How many people can take part?

Anywhere from six to two thousand. Small teams usually run one of our small group challenges, and very large groups run in waves across a room.

Do we need a special venue?

No. Almost every event runs in a room you already have, whether that is your office, a hotel function room or a conference space. We'll tell you exactly what space we'll need when we quote.

What if some of our team are not practical?

That is the normal case, and the events are built for it. Every build is mixed ability by design, with no fitness element and nothing that puts an individual on the spot.

Does the charity actually turn up?

Wherever it is possible, yes, and it is the part people remember. When a charity cannot get there on the day, we deliver on their behalf and send you the photographs of happy faces and grateful people.

How far ahead do we need to book?

A few weeks is usually enough, and we have turned events around faster. The last quarter of the year books up well in advance, so festive dates are worth asking about early.

Tell us roughly what you have in mind.

A rough headcount and a rough date is enough to start. You get the prices first, and we only follow up if you want us to.
